Dustin Wayne Shaver

Dustin Wayne Shaver, 30, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born on June 23, 1980 in Daviess Co., KY. He was employed as a group leader with Sun Windows for about eight years. He enjoyed helping others and working outdoors. He had been a T-ball coach for his children's teams and a Cub Scout Troop Leader. He also was very proud of his new motorcycle. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Mary Lee Shaver and a grandfather, Charles Chappell.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Ashley Shaver, his children, Chad, Joshua, and Hannah Shaver, all at home, his parents, Wilma Shaver of Owensboro and Stephen (Debbie) Shaver of Owensboro, grandparents, Anna Dean (Robert) Shoptaugh of Owensboro and Vivian Chappell of Owensboro, two sisters, Krystal Shaver of Owensboro and Holly (Troy) Taylor of Henderson, mother-in-law, Melinda Stone of Owensboro and a sister and brother-in-law, Jamie and Daniel Turner of Whitesville, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 19, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 8:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
