Duncan Gilmore

Duncan Lee Gilmore, 61, of Owensboro died Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Knottsville to the late Arthur and Lena Dennison Gilmore, worked as a carpenter for Local 549, was a hard worker and a wonderful family man with a love for life.
He was also preceded in death by sisters Myrtle and Rose Sharon Gilmore; brothers David and Arthur Gilmore; nephew Eric Dwayne Gilmore; and great-nephew Gustavo Yanez Jr.
Survivors include nieces and nephews Shaunta Gilmore Walton, Andrea Cotton Figueroa, Stephen Hamilton, Joshua Hamilton (Kerry) and Amber Yanez (Gustavo); former wife Pamela Tarrance; stepsons Nathan, Brian, Adam and Allen Marsh; and many great-nieces, great-nephews and grandbabies.
Services will be 6:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will begin at 2 p.m.
