Dulcie McCarty, found peace on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the age of 94. Born April 30, 1921 to the late John Daniel "J.D." and Lizzie Owen, Dulcie was retired from General Electric, but had continued to usually work two jobs most of her life to provide for her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William McCarty and all of her children, William Gale McCarty, Wanda Jean Oller, Patsy Louise Schroader, and Joseph Marion McCarty.
Dulcie is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren
Services will be noon Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
