Drew Matthew Boling

Drew Matthew Boling, 39, of Louisville, died Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville. He was a student at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and formerly served as minister of music and worship at Oakland Baptist, Calhoun Baptist, Yellow Creek Baptist, Macedonia Baptist, and Bellevue Baptist Churches. He was currently a member of Highview Baptist Church, Fegenbush Campus, where he was serving as an intern. Drew was also honored to be an Eagle Scout. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Hunter Boling in 2007.
Surviving is his loving wife of 13 years, Tammy Dantic Boling, his children, Lily and Keaton Boling, parents, Bob and Becky Boling of Scottsville, KY., a sister, Dora Boling of Brooklyn, NY., an uncle, Bill (Lenna) Allen of Nashville, and children, Denton Allen, Catherine Allen and Cynthia (Jeff) Riffe and their children, Rachel, Austen and Lauren, his mother-in-law, Jill Dantic, and grandmother-in-law Georgia Dantic, sisters-in-law Leah Dantic, Andrea (Tim) Crabtree and their children, Coleman and Connor, all of Owensboro, father-in-law, Tom Dantic of Lithia, FL., and a sister-in-law, Melissa Dantic of Woodbridge, VA. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Bellevue Baptist Church in Owensboro with Greg Faulls and Dan Odle officiating with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be in Scottsville, at Scottsville Baptist Church, on Thursday, May 19, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and in Owensboro at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory Friday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
