Dovie Mae Edgell Clouse

Dovie Mae Edgell Clouse, 89, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2005 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in West Virginia on February 25, 1915, Mrs. Clouse worked as a Nurses Aide and was of the Baptist Faith. In her later years she was cared for by her son Roy Gene Clouse and a daughter-in-law, Virginia Clouse. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Herman Clouse in 1999 and four brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are four sons, David L. (and Virginia) Clouse of West Louisville, Roy Gene Clouse, Walter Lee Clouse, and Robert Clouse all of Owensboro; a daughter, Shirley Judd of Owensboro; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 12 Noon Monday, February 21, 2005 at Christ Chapel, Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Glen n Funeral Home from 1-6 P.M. Sunday, February 20, 2005 after 10 A.M. Monday.
