Douglas E. Wethington, 63, of Nokomis, FL went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 18. Our brother's life is best summarized by the author William Wordsworth, "that best portion of a man's life - his little, helpful, remembered acts of kindness and love". Doug was preceded in death by his father, James Wethington and mother, Mayme; and a brother, Larry Wethington. He is survived by his two brothers: Don Wethington of Rough River, KY and Wayne (Nancy) Wethington; a sister, Doris (Doug) Williams; a sister-in-law, Sonja; and many nieces and nephews all from Owensboro. Family services will be held at the North Jettie in Nokomis, FL.
