Douglas Earl Kirk

Douglas Earl "Doug" Kirk, 47, of 1825 Parrish Plaza Drive, Owensboro, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Doug was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on May 13, 1961, and had worked as a roofer. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Kirk in 2002, and a bother, Roy Thomas Kirk in 1959.

Surviving are his mother; Patty Kirk, brothers; Randy and Charles Kirk and a sister; Cindy Kirk, all of Owensboro, and a sister; Joy Brown of Maceo, his grandmother; Henrietta Miller of Owensboro, two sons; Doug Kirk Jr. and Timothy Kirk of Evansville, Indiana, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Glenn Funeral Home.
