Douglas L. Gentry

Douglas L. Gentry, 62, of Owensboro passed away on June 18, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Madisonville, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Catherine Gentry.

In the past Douglas worked at Taylor's IGA for 15 years and then as a delivery driver for Velvet Milk Co. (now Prairie Farms). He loved word search puzzles and old country music.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Vicky Crowley and a brother, Monroe Gentry.

Douglas is survived by his wife of 33 years, Connie Gentry; daughters, Amy Bartlett-Cooper (Kenneth) of Murray, KY, Shelly Dunagan (Harold) of Monticello, KY and Donna Caldwell of Seattle, WA; sons, Jeffrey Gentry of Atlanta, GA, Jason Gentry (Stacy Hawkins) of Owensboro and Anthony Cutone (Christa) of Las Vegas, NV; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 11 siblings, Margaret Todd, Fay Alexander, Gaye White, Deborah Carroll, Louise Rickard, Evelyn Rivet, Joe, Raymond, Terry, Lonnie and Sammy Gentry and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, June 21 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Jimmy Willis will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday after 10:00 am.
