Doug Lockridge

Doug Lockridge, 75, of 840 N. Adams Street, Henderson, formerly of Owensboro died Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson. He was born in Webster County, Kentucky on September 29, 1927 the son of Charles E. and Lola Melton Lockridge. A son, Leonard Douglas Lockridge and a daughter, Linda Lee Stedman, preceded him in death on October 13, 1973.

Mr. Lockridge retired from Green River Area Comprehensive Care. He was a member of the Baptist faith and an U. S. Army veteran.

Survivors include a son, Tommy Ray Lockridge of Evansville, IN; three grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; one brother, Carroll Lockridge of Louisa, KY; two sisters, Dorothy Coons of Owensboro and Margarite Ann Griffin of Belvidere, IL.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Keith Griffin. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, Kentucky. His family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2002 and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
