Dorothy Marie Warner Snyder

Dorothy Marie Warner Snyder, 85, of Humbolt, TN (formerly of Owensboro) passed away Saturday, July 15, 2006 at the Humbolt Manor Nursing Center. Born in Muhlenberg County on October 31, 1920, Mrs. Snyder was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Nora Ester Miller Warner. She was a homemaker and seamstress, member of Nickel Ridge Pentecostal Church; and enjoyed crafts, crocheting, dancing and fishing. She was a dedicated and loving mother, sister to five brothers, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by a her husband, Everett N. Leslie; her son Everett Frankin Leslie, and daughter, Connie Faye Enyart.

Surviving are daughters, Eydie (and her husband Larry) Jines of Humbolt, TN and Ruby Jean Leslie of Oceanside, CA; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Charles R. Warner of Greenville.

Services are 2:30 P.M. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Neil Bradley officiating and soloist Patti Sharp, burial will follow in New Macedonia Cemetery in Daviess County. Visitation will be from 1-8 P.M. on Wednesday and after Noon on Thursday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Roy Warner, Frank Leslie, Jr., Jack Hundley, Mike Taylor, Ryan Taylor, and Adam Taylor, and Woody Stiltner.
