Dorothy Nell Shields

Dorothy Nell "Katy" Shields, 61, of Owensboro, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in McLean County to Floyd and Myrtle (Ball) Warner. Katy was a homemaker and enjoyed time with her family and was a very giving, loving person.
Her father Floyd Warner and siblings, Bonnie Ramburger, Wendell "Buddy" and Howard Warner preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children; Johnny "Bub" (Christy) Shields Jr., and Terry "Sissy" Shields (George) Cravens, both of Utica, and Billy (Kanetha) Shields of Hawesville, grandchildren; Nicole Shields (Michael) Mattingly, Ashton Shields, Marcus Shields, Jay , Kelsey, Seth Stevens, Logan and Madison Shields, great-grandchildren; Hadley, Chloe and Sophia Mattingly, her mother; Myrtle Warner, brothers and sisters; Wanda (George) Ramburger, Charles (Diane) Warner, Darleen Sosh Eagan, Chester David Warner, Larry Warner, Terry (Sue) Warner, Bobby Warner, Sheila Jones, Carol (Sam) Richard, James Daniel "Danny" (Alicia) Warner, and Floyd "Junior" (Lori) Warner.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Brother Ancel Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
