Dorothy "Dot" Robertson, 94, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at the Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Louisville. She was born August 15, 1916 to the late Roscoe and Fannie Lee Cecil Foster in Daviess County. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Taylortown Homemakers, and enjoyed being with her family, especially her siblings and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Robertson in 1969, five brothers, William "Bill" Foster, Arthur "Ott" Foster, Joseph "Jay" Foster, Charles Foster, and Wendell Foster, three sisters, Lorraine "Pug" Morrison, Patricia Brown, and Linda Sturgeon.

Survivors include her daughter, Beckie Berry and her husband, David of Louisville; her step-son, Robert Merritt and his wife, Anna Merle of Slidell, LA, and a step-daughter, Sally Brown of Meridian, MS; three granddaughters, Allyson (Randy) Winbush, Meredith (Tim) Travis, and Sarah Berry and her fianc, Eric; four great-grandchildren, Jackson Winbush, and Luke Winbush, Miles Travis and Carter Travis; one brother, Roscoe "BoBo" Foster and his wife, Lela of Owensboro, a sister, Geraldine "Dena" Benham ; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, and after 8:30 AM Friday at the funeral home.
