Dorothy Ann Brown Payne

Dorothy Ann Brown Payne, 92, of 1409 Hathaway St., Owensboro, died Thursday, July 4, 2002 at the Hillcrest Health Care Center. The Whitesville native was a homemaker and member of the Blessed Mother Catholic Church. She loved attending the catholic picnics and participating in the cake walks. She also love fishing, cooking and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Nathaniel Payne in 1999 and a son, James Edward Payne in 1936.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Rebecca Alsup of Owensboro and Patricia Ann Logsdon of Glendale, AZ; twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Saturday, July 6, 2002 at the Blessed Mother Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 2-8 P.M. on Friday and after 8:30 A.M. on Saturday. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 7 P.M. on Friday.
