Dorothy Lee Havener Logsdon, 83, of Philpot died Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the home of a daughter in Florissant, MO. Born in Owensboro, the daughter of the late William Robert Sylvester and Adaline Rosa Lee Bartlett Havener, she was a member of Karns Grove Baptist Church. She took pleasure in needle work, particularly embroidery, quilting and crocheting, greatly enjoyed reading, and appreciated the challenge of working difficult puzzles
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Mallory Logsdon; her daughters, Yvonne Gayle Logsdon Stone and her husband Dan of Florissant, MO and Rosemary Logsdon Smith and her husband Kelly of Sanford, MI; her sons, Ronald Lee Logsdon of Owensboro, Mallory Wayne Logsdon and his wife Emma of Reynolds Station, and Randy Allen Logsdon of Florissant, MO; six grandsons and 4 granddaughters; 19 great-grandchildren; her half-brother Robert Nelson Havener of Hawaesville, and her half-sister, Mildred Lou Havener Voyles of Hartford.
Services, officiated by the Rev. Clarence Nemitz, will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. Saturday; from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, and after 9:00 a.m. Monday. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
