Dorothy A. Leishman

Dorothy A. "Dottie" Leishman, 76, of Maceo, went to be with the Lord April 19, 2015. She was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church and was retired from Commonwealth Aluminum. After retirement, she became a door greeter at Sam's Club in Owensboro. Dottie loved gardening and doing other things to keep herself busy. She was a hard worker and loved to take care of others. Dottie was a great sister, spending many nights with her siblings playing dominos and reminiscing about old times.

Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, John Milton Leishman, one brother and one sister.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Hillard (Cathy), David Anthony "Tony" Hillard; daughter, Tamira Sue Goatee, three sisters, one brother, three step-children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2PM Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 10AM-2PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky.
