Dorothy Husk

Dorothy Husk, 77, of Owensboro, passed away December 1, 2015. She was born on May 28, 1938 to the late Clerence and Anna Hanks. Dorothy was employed for Owensboro Linen for many years and was married to her childhood sweetheart, Gilbert Husk for 62 years. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Gilbert Lee Husk; sisters, Mary Riley, Ruby Payne, and three brothers, Raymond Hanks, Jack Hanks, and Marjo Hanks.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Husk; brothers, Wilbur Hanks (Sharron) and Michael Hanks (Donna); sister, Erma Hanks; nieces, Anna Burton (Jimmy) and Kathy Burton (John), and nephews, Ronnie Payne and Danny Payne.

Services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Ridge Wood Baptist Church in Owensboro. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery.
