Dorothy Harrison

Dorothy Harrison, 71, of 1918 Sunset Drive, Owensboro, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Herscher, IL, native had been a cook for Landshire Foods, was a member of Peoples Baptist Church, loved being a grandmother, and enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Ronald Harrison, a son, Michael L. Harrison of Owensboro, two brothers, Bob Walters and Edward Walters of Loogootee, IN, a sister, Doris Andrews of Harvard, IL, and 1 grandchild.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Entombment will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice Association, Inc., 723 Harvard Drive, Owensboro, KY 42301.
