Dorothy S. Gill

Dorothy S. Gill, 80, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on January 8, 1933 in Alabama. Dorothy was retired as the manager of the bookstore at Kentucky Wesleyan College and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed all types of woodcarving. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gill in December of 1986.
Surviving are her granddaughter and husband, Chris and Jody Howard, and great grandchildren, Cody, Logan, and Cole, all of Lewisport. Also surviving are Janalyn Gill and Jeff Higdon.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, May 11, at Owensboro Memorial Gardens with burial following. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
