Dorothy S. Clark

Dorothy Starks Clark, 85, of 1639 Monarch Ave., Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Amos Paul and Francis Aull Starks, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church and the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snow. She enjoyed spending time with her family, was a very prayerful Mother & Grandmother, and her faith was very very dear to her. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Joseph Clark on Oct. 21, 2002, a son, William Bernard Clark on Jan. 5, 2000, and 2 great grandchildren.

Surviving are four daughters, Betty Jo and her husband Billy Payne, Martha Faye and her husband Marvin Hayden, Judy Fischer, and Janice Goins, all of Owensboro, two sons, Bobby and his wife Betty Clark, and Jimmy and his wife Nancy Clark, all of Owensboro, 26 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, Oct. 3, at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with burial following in St. Anthony Cemetery at Browns Valley. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday and after 11:00 A.M. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be at 5:30 P.M. Saturday.
