Dorothy B. Clark, 85 of Owensboro, died Friday, June 27, 2008 at her home with her family at her side. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Dorothy was born in Daviess County on October 3, 1922 to the late Frank Bivens who died in 1992, and Betty Lou (Moreland) Bivens who preceded her in death in 1967. Her husband of 43 years, Jerry J. Clark also preceded her in death in 1999.

Dorothy was a member of Owensboro Christian Church, was a retired realtor and on the Owensboro Board of Realtors. She was a member of the Owensboro Tourist Commission, Owensboro Country Club and the Campbell Club.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her daughter; Luann Kirkland of Owensboro, granddaughters; Leslie (Nick) Searcy, Stacy (Lee) Miller, Heather (Kelly) Alvey, and great-grandchildren; Summer (Damon) Westerfield, Ryan Woosley, Todd and Ethan Green, Chloe and Omar Searcy, Eli and Riley Miller, a sister; Lillian (James) Watts, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m.Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home with Myke Templeton officiating. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 7 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
