Doris Ann Russ

January 22, 1932 — May 12, 2015

Doris Ann Duncan Russ, 83, of Owensboro, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 12, 2015 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born January 22, 1932 in Hancock Co. to the late John Lloyd and Mattie Lou Hamilton Duncan. Doris was retired as a Registered Nurse having worked for Dr. Jack Keeley and Dr. Bill Bryant. She was a member of Breckenridge Street United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a big fan of Kentucky Wesleyan College and U. K. basketball. She loved spending time with her family. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Forest Delmas Potter and John L Russ, a brother, Donald Duncan, and her son-in-law, Walter Bullington.

Surviving are her daughter, Brenda Potter Bullington of Owensboro, three granddaughters, Amy (Eric) Clayton of Owensboro, Melanie (Dan) Connor of Evanston, IN, and Lori Bullington of Masonville, six great grandchildren, Anthony Reid Stewart and Spencer Clayton, both of Owensboro, Katelynn, Caleb, and Keegan Bullington, all of Masonville, and Steven Forest Connor of Evanston, a great great granddaughter, Alaina Stewart of Owensboro, a brother, James Lloyd (Regina) Duncan of Owensboro, a sister-in-law, Shirley (Richard) Cates of Owensboro, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 16, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
