Doris Harmon, 76, of 8301 Saur Road, Maceo, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2007 at Florida Hospital-Waterman in Tavares, Fla. She was born in Sacramento, Calif. to the late Earl & Jessie Bolen Shadwick She was a homemaker and had been attending Riverside Baptist Church. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them and cooking for them. She also loved flower gardening and working outdoors.
Surviving is her husband of 60 years, Milby Harmon, her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Harrell Felty of Owensboro, her granddaughter, Pam Frailley of Owensboro and her boyfriend, Tim Epple of Owensboro, and a great granddaughter, Brianna Frailley.
Services will be 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, March 21, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Private committal services and burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
