Doris E. Cunningham

Doris E. Cunningham, 82, formerly of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Bitas Hospice at Bethany Brighton Gardens in Dunwoody, GA. She was born on September 21, 1928 in Clinton, KY. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and was retired from S. W. Anderson Co. having worked in the Ladies Dept. She enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens dances and working crossword puzzles. She was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Cunningham on June 1, 1990, her parents, the Maxberry's, and her daughter-in-law, Linda Cunningham on March 2, 2003.

Surviving are her daughters, Beth Cunningham of Atlanta, GA and Lori L. Leonard and husband Michael of Irving, TX, a son, Steve Cunningham of Owensboro, and a grandchild, Kendra Leigh Cunningham of Louisville.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 23, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, TN. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 12 Noon Saturday at the funeral home.
