Donna Kay Sympson

Donna Sympson, 46, of 1715 Foors Lane, Owensboro, died Friday, October 1, 2004 in Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born March 14, 1958 to John T. and Martine Cecil Sandefur in Daviess County. Donna was a Human Resources Representative at Owensboro Medical Health System, she enjoyed working in her flower garden and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Martine Sandefur who died January 26, 2002 and her mother-in-law, Martha Sympson who died March 22, 2004.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Johnny Sympson of Owensboro; her father, John T. Sandefur of Owensboro; one sister, Sandy Goodman and her husband, Ray; father-in-law, James W. Sympson of Louisville; brother-in-law, Jimmy Sympson, Jr. of Hartford; sister-in-law, Sherrie Wemes and her husband William H. of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews, Brian Goodman and Jeff Goodman and his wife, Scarlett, Greg M. Wemes, Joy Lynne Wemes, Kelly Casteel and her husband John, and Brittney C. Sympson.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, at Glenn Funeral Home, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 PM Monday, and after 10:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
