Donna K. Fulkerson

Donna K. Fulkerson, 71, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023, at her home while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.  She was born August 3, 1952 in Daviess County to the late George and Frances Arnett Kyle.  Donna was retired from the Owensboro Public School System after 28 years where she taught music and was an elementary school teacher.  She was a member of Owensboro Christian Church.  Donna loved spending time and playing with her grandchildren and “the dirtier they got, the better”.  She enjoyed performing in Broadway musicals for the Theater Workshop of Owensboro, antiquing, needlepointing, and working in the art of stained glass.

Donna was also preceded in death by her brother, Vogel Kyle.

Surviving are her husband of 24 years, Mark Fulkerson; two daughters, Cassidy Ray and husband Jacob and Leslie Embry and husband Luke, all of Owensboro; her son, Marcus Fulkerson and wife Kellee of Newburgh, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Sebastian Fulkerson of Evansville, Cole Himes of Owensboro, Harper Ray of Owensboro, Ryker Fulkerson of Newburgh, Charley Ray of Owensboro, Sawyer Fulkerson of Newburgh, and Holden Ray of Owensboro.

A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
