Donna Loraine Penrod Elder

Donna Loraine Penrod Elder, 47, of Owensboro died Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Born June 14, 1957, Mrs. Elder was a registered nurse and member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Neda Penrod.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Mike Elder; a son, Brian Jeffery Dever of Chicago; two step-daughters and their husbands, Harmony Lea and Paul Lehecka of Owensboro and Holly Michelle and Rick Lehecka of Spring Grove, IL; two grandchildren, her parents, Claude Donald and Loraine Riggs Penrod of Calhoun; a brother, Hugh Gary (and Jeanette) Penrod of Livermore; her father-in-law, Walter (and Sue) Elder of Owensboro; a nephew, Nathan Penrod of Livermore; a niece, Lori Brown of Livermore; a brother-in-law, Pat (and Lori) Elder of Owensboro; a nephew, Austin Elder of Owensboro; and two nieces, Courtney Elder and Andrea Elder of Owensboro.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Monday, May 24, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial in Calhoun Cemetery. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 1-6 P.M. on Sunday and after 8:30 A.M. on Monday. Prayers will at 6 P.M. Sunday.
