Donna Marie Barnett

Donna Marie Barnett, 69, of Philpot, left this earth to go to her eternal home while in the arms of her loving husband and two daughters, on March 26, 2024.  She was born on August 27, 1954, to Joseph Frank and Barbara Marie Fulkerson of Knottsville.  On January 5, 1973, she married her lifelong love, Darrell Barnett and they had two beautiful daughters.  

Donna dedicated her life to being a beloved wife, mother, and Nana.  She found joy in spending time and playing games with family, traveling, and quilting, especially baby quilts she gifted to others.  Donna was strong, beautiful, and kind to everyone she ever met.  She had a love for Care Bears and penguins, and never missed an episode of General Hospital.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Frank Fulkerson; in-laws, Emmettean and Ella Mae Barnett; brother-in-law, Walter Howard and niece, Kelly Howard.

Loved ones left behind include her husband, Darrell Barnett; daughters, April (Christopher) Barker and Wendy (Myren) Howard; grandsons, Chase (Taylor) Barker, Tyler Barker, Austin Howard, Jayden (Taelyr) Howard, and great-grandsons, Maxwell, Nolan and Jack.  She is also survived by her mother, Barbara Marie Fulkerson; sisters, Becky Howard, Carol (Terry) Morris, Cheryl Morris, Kathy (Ivan) Hagan, Barbara (Evan) McDaniel; brothers, Frankie (Laura) Fulkerson, Mike (Lisa) Fulkerson and many brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at St. William Catholic Church with burial following at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.  Prayers will be 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
