Donald E. Donnie Vanover, 63, of Utica died Saturday, December 14, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born in McLean County on December 11, 1939 the son of Pruitt and Opal Bunch Vanover.
Mr. Vanover was a logger, a Methodist, a member of Daviess County Coon Club and a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Regina Vanover; two sons, Troy Vanover, and Donald Mouse Vanover, both of Utica; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Nelda Baird of Philpot, Linda Gabbert of Hickory Flat, Miss., and Patsy Smith of Utica.
Services are at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Hal Wilson and Reverend Torrie Hunter. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore. His family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2002 and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
