Donald Cletus Morris

Mr. Donald C. Morris, 56, of 2623 Landor Ave., Louisville, KY, died Sunday, January 4, 2004, at his mothers home in Owensboro. He was born July 10, 1947, to Cletus and Opal Butler Morris, in Daviess County. He was an Attorney in private practice,and a member of the American Bar Association. He was a member of Hawesville Baptist Church, and enjoyed golfing, gardening and woodworking. He spent many years coaching HYR softball.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Jamie Morris , two daughters, Lauren and Julie Morris, both of Louisville, his mother, Opal Morris of Owensboro, one sister, Faye Ann Jones of LaQuinta, CA, and one brother, Keith Morris of Owensboro.

His father, Cleatus Morris, deceased in 1998.

Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 9, 2004, at Glenn Funeral Home, with burial in Serenity Hills Cemetery in Hawesville, KY. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, and after 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.
