Donald Floyd Horn, 76, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at his home. He was born on June 23, 1934 in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Morgan and Annabelle Livers Horn. He was a member of Third Baptist Church and was retired from the City of Owensboro where he served as a group leader with the Sewer and Street Department. He loved fishing, deer hunting, camping at Barkley Lake and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Donald was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Robert, Charlie, and Morgan Horn, Jr., and two great grandchildren, Lucas and Charles Clark, Jr.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Martha Clark Horn, four sons, Michael Wayne Horn of Owensboro, Gary Lee (Nanice) Horn of Huachuca City, AZ, Scottie Lynn (Kat) Horn of Owensboro, and Timothy Jack (Valerie) Clark of Calhoun, a daughter, Angela Gale Horn (Billy) Oost of Owensboro, five grandchildren, Charles Leigh Clark, Steven Clark, Collin Horn, and Molly Horn, all of Owensboro, and Christopher Horn of Hawesville, a sister, Nancy Anne Horn, and two brothers, James E. (Linda) Horn and Jack (Ruth) Horn , all of Owensboro.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 9, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Smith-Ratliff Cemetery in McLean Co., Ky. Visitation will be from 1:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
