Donald Ray Holbrook

Donald Ray Holbrook, 71, of 8130 Saur Road, Maceo, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2003, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky., and was retired from Kentucky Wesleyan College after 35 years as a maintenance supervisor. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Temple and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching sporting events. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving is his wife Shirley, a son, Daniel Ray Holbrook of Owensboro, a daughter, Dana Armstrong of Owensboro, two grandchildren, Charles and Nicole Armstrong, both of Owensboro, a brother, David Holbrook of Nashville, TN, and a sister, Rosemary Coomes of Owensboro.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 22, 2003, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens with military honors. Visitation will be from 1:00-5:00 P.M. Sunday and after 8:30 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
