Donald Heady

August 21, 1918 — April 7, 2001

Mr. Donald Heady, 82, of Maceo, died Saturday, April 7 at the Hillcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Owensboro. The Daviess County native was a retired farmer and member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. He was a certified United Methodist Lay Speaker, active in the 4-H and Future Farmers of America, and loved raising ponies and mules and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary K. Luttrell Heady, 3 sons, Rev. David Heady of Haiti, Paul W. Heady of Owensboro, and James R. Heady of Maceo, 2 daughters, Patricia Huckleberry and Linda Heady both of Owensboro, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and 1 brother, Joseph W. Heady of Maceo.

Funeral services are Monday, April 9, 10 A.M., at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-7 P.M. on Sunday and after 8:30 A.M. on Monday.
