Donald Daniel

Donald Daniel, 94, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born on March 11, 1917 in Ohio Co., Ky. to the late Otha and Flora Ashford Daniel. He was retired from Standard Oil Co. in Whiting, In. in 1972 and from Liquid Transport Co. in 1984. He was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church and a 50 year member of the Owensboro Masonic Lodge #130. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Versie Daniel on September 20, 1971 and a son, Robert Daniel on January 9, 2008.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ashley Costello Daniel, three sons, Edward Daniel of Cumberland, Wisc., Benny Daniel of DeMotte, In., and Thomas Daniel of N. Miami Beach, Fl., two stepchildren, John Costello of Fordsville and Brenda Graham of Virginia Beach, Va., several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Masonic services at 2:00 P.M. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, In.
