Donald L. Clark, 70, of 9160 Highway 144, Knottsville (Philpot), passed away on Monday, March 16, 2009 at his home. He was born on Oct. 26, 1938 in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Paul G. and Thelma Garrett Clark. He was retired from CSX Railroad after 33 years as an engineer and was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Ensor Masonic Lodge #729, was a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Scottish Rite Temple and was a Shriner with the Rizpah Temple. He enjoyed fishing, boating, spending time with his grandchildren, and had been on the Board of Directors of the Daviess Co. Fish and Game for 6 years. He was also preceded in death by his second wife, Jo Ann Hogan Clark on October 3, 1980.

Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Shirley A. Clark, a son, Lindsay Clark and wife Judy of Inverness, FL, two daughters, Angie Cole and husband Larry of Knottsville and Vicki Clark of Owensboro, a stepson, Jeff Lanham and wife Michele of Livermore, a stepdaughter, Penny Kay Howard and husband Ronnie of Knottsville, seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two sisters, Betty Greenwell of Yelvington and Ann Jenkins of Bowling Green.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 19, at St. Williams Catholic Church with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home followed by Masonic services at 7:00 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 723 Harvard Dr., Owensboro, Ky. 42301.
