Donald "Don" Bishop

Donald E. "Don" Bishop, 85, of Owensboro passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born in Daviess County to the late Durwood and Woodie Mae Bishop.
Don was a U.S. Marine Corp Sergeant who was disabled during the Korean War. He was of the protestant faith. Mr. Bishop enjoyed working on his home and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mildred L. Brewer Bishop and a son, Barry Gene Bishop in 1965.
He is survived by sons, Donald E. Bishop, Jr. and Stephen D. Bishop, both of Owensboro; grandchildren, Jennifer Warfield and Jason Bishop; great-grandchildren, Kaelyn and Madilyn Warfield and Aubrey Bishop.
