Don Nonweiler

June 18, 1932 — October 15, 2010

Donald Ray Nonweiler, 78, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010 in Evansville, Indiana at Visiting Nurse Association Center after a year long battle with AML. He was born June 18, 1932 in Petersburg, Indiana to the late Edwin and Kathleen (Bates) Nonweiler. Don grew up in Boonville and graduated from Boonville High School in 1950. He attended Indiana University and graduated from the University of Evansville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne. He worked for Standard Oil of Indiana then owned and operated Wyndall's Wonder Whip. Don was preceded in death by his son, Kenton Nonweiler, a son-in-law, Jeffery Anguil and a niece Deborah Underwood.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Kathy Luther Nonweiler, three daughters, Lisa (Randy) Kamuf, Kandace (Richard) Riebel, and Jennifer Nonweiler, five grandsons, Alex and Chris Anguil, Dylan, Dalton and Drake Nonweiler, two granddaughters, Kendra Krause and Mallory Mock, two step-granddaughters, Valerie and Katelyn Kamuf, and five great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 2 until 5 p.m. with a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory in Owensboro. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Boonville, Indiana on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside services, Monday.
The Nonweiler family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the John and Betty Charlier Hospice Center, or to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be left at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
