Mrs. Domenica "MiMi" Kolb, 83, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born January 30, 1927 in Buffalo, N.Y. She retired from the telephone company, was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church, and enjoyed volunteering at many churches. She enjoyed ceramics, photography, boating, all of nature and especially feeding the birds. She enjoyed cooking and baking and being a giver to others in many ways.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Nelson J. Kolb of Owensboro; two sons, Michael A. Kolb and his friend, Kathleen Herlihy of Hamburg, N.Y., Ronald A. and his wife, Nancy Kolb of Owensboro; one grandson, Kyle Esarey; a brother, Domenic Genovese and his wife, Helene of South Carolina, a sister, Susan Pagano and her husband, Jim of Silver Creek, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with burial in Cape Vincent, N.Y.. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
