Dolores Ann Windbigler Maloney

Dolores Ann Windbigler Maloney, 58, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born September 3, 1947 in Scotia, CA., Mrs. Maloney was a homemaker, devoted to her family, and enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, needlepoint and especially basket weaving. She was preceded in death by her father Dalton Windbigler and beloved friend, Linda Claubaugh.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Michael Maloney; a daughter, Jennifer (and her husband Eric) Gertner of Portland, OR; sons, Brian (and his wife Wynn) Maloney of Pittsburgh, PA and Sean Maloney of Owensboro; her mother, Johneta Windbigler of Chico, Ca; a sister, Diane (and her husband William) Ward of Valencia, CA; and brothers, Michael (and his wife Sandra) Windbigler and William (and his wife Maria) Windbigler both of Castro Valley, CA.

Services are 12 Noon Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Meredith officiating followed by burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M on Friday and after 10 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home where prayers will be said at 7:45 P.M on Friday evening.
