Dollye Baker Reynolds, 80, of Philpot, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born June 8, 1933 to the late Dewey and Gola Seaton. Dollye was a Beautician for 30 years and owned Doll House Beauty Salon. She was devoted to spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She was a member of Dawson Baptist Church where she enjoyed several Mission Trips, two of which, she took two of her grandsons. She loved baking bread, gardening, reading and collecting vintage hats.
Along with her parents, she is also proceeded in death by her two husbands, Roy Baker and Tony Reynolds; sister, Dorothy Henry and brothers in-law Red Henry and Joe Clanton. Dollye is survived by her daughters, Cyndi Baker Best (Gary) and Julietta Wilhite, all of Philpot; sons, Steve Baker (Gloria) of Owensboro, Kevin Reynolds (Virginia) of LaPorte, IN and Curt Reynolds (Sharon) of Owensville, IN. Three sisters, Gladys Clanton, Betty Belcher (Harold) of Mt. Sterling and Judy Parker (Don) of Owensboro, nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, Wednesday at 10AM with burial following at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday 3-8PM and Wednesday at 9AM at the funeral home.
In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made to World Hunger in memory of Dollye.
