Devon AlJamara Jumper

Devon Al'Jamara Jumper, 20, of Owensboro, our beloved son, was called home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 10, 2008. He was born July 20, 1987, in Saginaw, MI, coming to Owensboro at the age of five. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, enjoyed being with his family, friends, and going to school. Devon was a student at Western Kentucky University.

He was precede in death by his grandfather, Thomas Jumper, his great-grandmother, Mamie Davenport and his great-grandfather, Carl Davenport, great-grandmother, Daisy Spencer, great-grandfather, Thomas Jumper, great-grandfather, George Washington.

His memory will be cherished by his mother, Pamela Jumper Cisco, step-father, William Cisco; his beloved grandmother, Annie Louella Jumper, his father, Eldred Washington of Saginaw, MI; very special aunts, Linda Williams and Steve Nelson, Debra Jumper Battles and her husband, James, both of Saginaw, MI, Hattie Curry of Owensboro; a great-great aunt, Edna Sledd, Devon has many aunts and uncles, and also leaves to cherish his memories, his very, very special cousins, Damien, Shaunte, and Anthony Jumper, all of Saginaw, MI; and many more very special cousins; a special God brother, Jacob Brown; God sister, LaDonna Jones, God brother, Larry Frierson, both of Saginaw, MI; God mother, Denise McCullock, very special God mother, Mae Frierson of Saginaw, MI; a very dear special friend, Barbara Hardaway, his very special friends, Eric Clark, Phillip Hogsed, Jake Brown, B. J. Hamilton Nate Crabtree, Alisha Strange, Forest Freeman, Jon Wilson Ashton Fulkerson, Taylor, Sheriese Bone, and Malikah Carbon.

Services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 2711 Cravens Ave., Owensboro, conducted by the Rev. Ronald Holmes, with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be, Anthony Jumper, Steve Nelson, Phillip Hogsed, Erman Tolliver, B. J. Hamilton, Todd Rittins, and James Battles. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Friday at Glenn Funeral Home.
