Dennis Michael Millay, 48, went to be with Jesus Friday, March 23, 2007. Born April 1, 1958 in Daviess County, Mr. Millay was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral; a graduate of Owensboro High School; and enjoyed working with flowers, especially cacti, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, James B. Millay in 1980.
Survivors include his mother, Merici Mattingly Millay of Owensboro; brothers, Larry (and Shirley) Millay and Joseph Millay both of Owensboro; sisters, Carol (and Steve) Crisp and Sharon (and Ken) Ritch of Owensboro and Joan Bartlett of Waynesville, MO; 17 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
Services are 10 A.M. Monday, March 26, 2007 at St. Stephen Cathedral with Father John Vaughan officiating followed by entombment in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 P.M. Sunday and after 8:30 A.M. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home where prayers will be said at 6 P.M. Sunday.
