Dennis "Paul" Gauselman, 67, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Mr. Gauselman was born January 20, 1950 in Daviess County to the late Randolph Ward and Margaret Louise Lancaster. Paul graduated from OHS in 1968 and immediately began working construction and framing houses. He was a self-made man who later started his own company, A+ Builders. Paul was a follower of Jesus Christ and a devoted member of his church, Relevant Faith where he attended bible studies and worshiped with zeal. Paul loved his family including his wife, children, and grandchildren. When he wanted to relax, he would find a good fishing hole.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gauselman was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Wigginton and grandmother Eva Lancaster.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 43 years, Yvonne Gauselman; sons, David Gauselman of Owensboro and Derrick Gauselman and wife Alexus of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; daughter, Cheri Gauselman also of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Fantini, Katherine Gauselman, Alexandra Gauselman, Braedyn Gauselman, and Davoran Gauselman; sisters, Linda Gauselman Warren (Darryl), Patty Booth (Billy), Carol Coons (John), Debi Bogle (Dickie); brothers, Billy Ward (Debbie) and Randall Ward; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Oda Shouse officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM till 2:00 PM.
