Dempsey L. Painter Baker, 70, of Masonville, died Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. The Morgantown native was a self-employed painter and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Camilla E. Nalley Baker; a son, Stephen Baker of Morgantown; a step-daughter, Judy Patton of Owensboro; five grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; four brothers, Don Baker of Morgantown, Jim Baker of Bowling Green, Dave Baker of Winter Haven, FL, and Charles Baker of California; four sisters, Pat Stanton of Leitchfield, and Alice West, Brenda Johnson and Ovie House all of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 1 P.M. Friday, November 7, 2003 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 P.M. on Thursday and after 9 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
