Deloris Janette Graham Terrell

Deloris Janette Graham Terrell, 83, of Owensboro (formerly of Morganfield) went to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born June 16, 1924 in Spencer County, In, Mrs. Terrell the daughter of the late John and Pauline Massey Graham; a member of the Parrish Avenue Baptist Church where she taught the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class; was retired from General Electric in Owensboro and the Union County School System; and was a member of TOPS #46. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Terrell in 1995, a brother, Wiley Graham, and a sister, Charlene Purivance.

Survivors include her children, Karen (and Sam) Douglas of Owensboro and Vickie (and Larry) Bickett and Larry (and Linda) Terrell of Morganfield, and Donna (and David) Calloway of Evansville; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Verner Graham of Chrisney, IN; sisters, Nina June Hicks and Marjorie Mullen of Chrisney, Anna Lee Gubler of Elizabethtown, Jewell La Mar of Owensboro, and Patsy Shirel of Bourbon, MO; an aunt, Jayne Benjamin of South Bend, IN; and an uncle, Clarence Massey of Anaheim, CA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services are 10 A.M. Monday at Parrish Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Mitchell Donohue officiating and at 3 P.M. Monday at Northside Baptist Church in Morganfield with Rev. Jim Adams officiating. Visitation will be from 1-6 P.M. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home; after 9 A.M. Monday at Parrish Avenue Baptist Church and after 2 P.M. Monday at Northside Baptist Church. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.
