Delmon Faught
August 27, 1928 — May 6, 2002
Delmon Faught, 73, of 930 Elsmere Street, Owensboro, died Monday, May 6, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born in Ohio County, Kentucky on August 27, 1928 the son of Homer and Maudie Sapp Faught.
Mr. Faught retired as a construction worker after 25 years. Mr. Faught worked at Bond Brothers Railroad Tie Co. for 10 years and was a member of Local 193. He was also a member of The Peoples Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Elizabeth Payne Faught; a sister, Margaret Sue Dennison of Owensboro; and two nephews and five nieces.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Jerry Rice. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends from 3:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 08, 2002 and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home.
