Delma B. Harris Anderson, 89, of Owensboro died Saturday, March 12, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Panther, Kentucky to the late Waymon and Ola Mae Nesmith Bunch, was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and had retired from General Electric. Mrs. Anderson loved spending time with her family and friends, going out to eat, southern gospel music and visiting the nursing homes.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Anderson and her daughter, Shirley Stallings.
Survivors include her son, Daniel Hulsey (Sherry) of Owensboro; her daughters, Sharon Alvey (Bro. Bill Alvey), Marion Jackson, Bonnie Mason (Billy) all of Owensboro, and Christine Brown (James) of Maceo, sister-in-law, Jonell Bunch of Owensboro; special great-granddaughter, Kayla Ruth; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be at Noon on Tuesday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
