Debra “Debbie” Maglinger Dugger, 68, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026 at her home. She was born December 23, 1957 in Daviess County to the late Hoover and Anna Hedges Maglinger. Debbie had been Activities Director for about 30 years, first with Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation, and then at Mount St. Joseph until she retired. For many years, music was Debbie’s life. She had been the lead singer for several bands, mostly with Midnight Flyer and sang in the choir and performed solos at Bellevue Baptist Church where she was a member. Debbie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren that were the love of her life. Debbie was also preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Maglinger and David Maglinger.
Surviving is her son, Gerren Dugger and wife Kristi of Philpot; three grandchildren, Ronen, Elliot, and Jovie Dugger; Nephews and a niece, Curtis Maglinger and wife Lisa and Bradley Maglinger of Owensboro and Kristi Maglinger; a great niece, Brooklyn Maglinger of Owensboro; and a sister-in-law, Tammy Maglinger of Owensboro.
Visitation will be from 4 PM until 7 PM Wednesday with a time of sharing at 6:30 PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
