Debra Michelle Clark

Debra Michelle Clark, 50, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026, at her home. The Daviess County native was born May 17, 1976, to Nancy Basham Shelton and the late Robert E. Daniels. Michelle graduated from Apollo High School with the class of 1994 where she was in ROTC. She was a mother and homemaker who was worried more about others than herself. Michelle enjoyed fishing, camping, and boating. She loved horror movies and, not surprising, Halloween was her favorite holiday.

In addition to her father, Michelle also was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Daniels.

Survivors include her husband, Cory Clark; four children, Chase Short (Erica) of Beaver Dam, Paige Yeckering (Jordan) of Utica, Corbin McLaughlin, and Collin McLaughlin both of Sacramento; six grandchildren who affectionately called her Mamaw, Ayden, Westyn, Leannza, and Braelyn Short, Jaxon and Hadley Yeckering; and her mother, Nancy Shelton.

The family plans a Celebration of Life at a later time. Care by Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
