Debby "Lindsey" Stallings
Deborah Ann Stallings of Owensboro died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the University of Louisville Medical Center. She was born on August 8, 1963 in Daviess Co., Ky. to wonderful parents, Mary Ann "Roby" and Gilbert Lindsey of Philpot who both loved her dearly. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
She has three brothers, Pat Lindsey and his wife Dana of Pellville, Lee Lindsey and his wife Jenny of Philpot, and Timmy Lindsey of Knottsville, and several nieces and nephews.
Debby has three "adopted" sisters, Tammy Mattingly, Beth Ackerman, and Jill Young, who were her best friends. Sara Wathen and Benita Turner were also some of her best friends, and so many others too numerous to list.
On April 23, 1982, Debby married Eddie Stallings, making him the happiest and luckiest man in the world. Through the blessings of God, Debby's continuous gifts to the world are five beautiful daughters, Bailey, Whitney, Katelyn, Madison, and Abbie. Debby was a wonderful mother whose children meant everything to her.
She was a natural beauty, pretty, sweet, friendly, and talkative. There was a friendliness about her that everyone wanted to be a part of. Through the last years of her fight against a brain tumor, she was overwhelmed and humbled by the kindness, generosity, and love shown by so many friends dear to her and her family, especially those her husband worked with and all her family at St. Pius X Parrish.
Debby was devoted to Right To Life and St. Jude's Childrens' Hospital. Special thanks go to Father Richard Meredith, Father Tituw "Titus" Winyi, and Seminarian Byron "Paco" Macias, and Auntie K.
