Dawn Marie Wardrip

Dawn Marie Wardrip, 37, of Rockport, Indiana passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. Ms. Wardrip was born September 10, 1978 in Owensboro to the late Ronald Atherton and Susan Augenstein Atherton. Dawn was first of all a devoted mother who loved her two daughters very much and worked hard to provide for them. Dawn's creative and passionate hobby was painting. She was driven to graduate with an Associate's degree in Nursing and was employed at Owensboro Center where her compassion and love was evident to all her patients.

Survivors include her daughters, Nora and Emily Wardrip of Rockport; mother, Susan Atherton of Owensboro; brother, Jim Schooler and wife Debbie of Louisville; sister, Cynthia Kay Schooler of Owensboro; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The service will be 12 noon Wednesday, September 7 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Eddie Duke officiating. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 and Wednesday from 11:00 AM.
